Zombie Cop!!!
Ok, its hard not to like zombies. It seems that it is a huge fad and everyone is all about zombies (mostly thanks to AMC’s adaptation of the Walking Dead), but I cant help myself from joining in with the hoards of zombie fans.
Zombie Cop is written by Jeff Mariotte (who is quickly climbing up my list of favorite authors) and is about well…a zombie cop.
Joe is a cop that has one last case to close before he lets himself become a full on zombie. fighting decay, hunger for human flesh, and even other police, Joe tries his best to fight the scum of the earth (dead or alive).
If you like zombies and really, really cool art then i suggest checking out Zombie Cop

This is an origin story for Wolverine that goes far back into Wolverine’s childhood.
It is always a strange thing when comics try to do origin stories, especially one that is as popular and frequent as wolverine. This origin story i felt was a good one but it could have been better. This story was alot less action and a lot more personality development. the reader learns how Logan gets his name (cus it isnt his real name) and how he comes to terms with his powers.
it wasnt amazing (mostly due to a lack of action) but it was good and interesting.

I’ve been reading more books these days without any art…

But im gunna do some posts on a few comics i got to read lately.

Jeff Mariotte is a great writer. I have enjoyed many of his comics, and I recently read one of his novels, “The Slab”.

It was a great read, and it did have a couple of sketches in it.

This is the first of a really good series of dramatic graphic novels. There is not as much action as say, the punisher, but it is a really well written series with good story lines.
This one is about a billionaire that tries to claim the moon as his own and threatens the earth from his moon base.
its a cool futuristic type of story with some clever writing and funny moments.
